The information is drawn from the register of citizens of the Slovak Republic who, pursuant to Act No. 253/1998 Coll. on the registration of residence of citizens of the Slovak Republic and the register of residents of the Slovak Republic, are registered for permanent residence in the city of Žilina. The data is automatically updated daily. The number of inhabitants according to the Slovak Statistical Office is published on its website (including the register of foreigners).
